Her journey about leading with values, mission, and impact

Mélony Y. Qin, aka CloudMelon. I’m a technologist, entrepreneur, investor, and community advocate. I am the book author of the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Exam Guide, the Kubernetes Workshop, Azure integration Guide for Business, and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure published by Packt Publishing.
I am a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Mainly working on my contributions towards OSS, DevOps, Kubernetes, Serverless, Data & AI, and IoT on Microsoft Azure in the community.
I’m the founder of CVisiona ( an iMelonArt company and a stealth AI startup ). I am running CloudMelon Vis (CVisiona on Youtube ), a next-gen tech media and education platform for tech professionals focusing on cloud-native and generative AI technology trends, tech in minutes. Complex ideas, simple stories.
To spread the word out, I am also running the Cloud-Native Innovators weekly newsletter, which focuses on cloud-native & AI infrastructure technologies. It has quickly grown and is now read by technologists at leading tech companies. In addition, a spin-off focusing on Generative AI called the AI Entrepreneur weekly newsletter on Substack.
“True fact as an IT professional, we should be a lifetime learner, the “KEY” to success is Keep Educating Yourself. I believe learning by doing, hands-on is the king.” – Mélony Q.

I would love to share knowledge and learn, and I hope to help others learn about cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and how Kubernetes serves as the backbone in the age of AI.
I’m eager to engage in public speaking events with CNCF and mentor new learners in workshops & hackathons. Personally, I will continue to create engaging educational content to help people navigate the complexities of Kubernetes adoption more effectively.
